Bethpage Kiwanis Supports Local Food Pantry - 06/03/2018

Club members of  stood outside the ShopRite on Hempstead Turnpike, collecting non-perishable food and sundry items on Sunday, June 3rd.   Volunteers handed out flyers with a list of much needed items and we were thrilled with the response from the shoppers.  All items collected were donated to St. Martin of Tours Outreach Center.

 


6th Annual Street Fair a HUGE Success - 06/01/2018

Despite a foggy start to the morning, the day turned out to be sunny and warm!   Our vendors reported excellent sales and the music at Campagne House was phenonmenal!  Thank you to all our members who came out to show their support and to the entire Bethpage community for helping to make this event a huge success!    Special thanks to the Nassau County DPW/Highway for their help, NCPD Stroessenreuther  and Bruno for assisting with set up and to our POP Officer Brohman for making sure there was police presence throughout the event.   Thank you to the Shop Owners on Broadway for tolerating us.   We couldn't do this without the support of so...

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Bethpage Central Park were proud to participate in the 2018 Bethpage Memorial Day Parade and honor the memory of our American Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the many freedoms that we have today.  


2018 Bethpage Kiwanis Debra Auer Memorial Scholarship - 06/01/2018

The Bethpage Kiwanis Debra Auer Memorial Scholarship was presented to Bethpage High School senior Stephanie D'Agostino.   This scholarship is given in memory of one of our charter members who wholeheartedly beleived itn the mission of Kiwanis --  “CHANGING THE WORLD ONE CHILD & ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME”.  


2018 Bethpage Kiwanis Community Service Scholarship - 06/01/2018

The 2018 Bethpage Kiwanis Community Scholarship was awarded to Bethpage High School Senior Frank Ragusa.  This Scholarship goes to a  student who has gone above and beyond in volunteer efforts and shows an understanding of  the lasting value of community service.

Builders Club Visits Local Nursing Home - 02/24/2018

The JFK Middle School Builders Club Visited Central Island Nursing Home in Plainview.  They gave out Valentine Cards and played Bingo with the residents, who really enjoyed interacting with the children.
