The JFK Middle School Builders Club Visited Central Island Nursing Home in Plainview.  They gave out Valentine Cards and played Bingo with the residents, who really enjoyed interacting with the children.

Team Kiwanis at Relay for Life - 06/03/2017

This is the 5th year that Team Kiwanis of Bethpage participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Bethpage High School.   Since it's inception at BHS eleven years ago, the event has raised over $1 million dollars!   We are proud to support survivors and caregivers who come out in force each year to help raise money to put an end to this insidious disease.   Together we will "FINISH THE FIGHT"!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2017 Street Fair a success.   We couldn't have done it without the help of our members, and 37 of you came out to support this event.   Shout out to Nassau County DPW, Highway, Police, and all the musicians who donated their time and talent and to all the shoppers who visited our vendors.   

QuickChek Grand Opening - 05/01/2017

Bethpage Kiwanis member QuickChek held their Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, May 1st. Last May, QuickChek Sponsored our Street Fair and their sponsorship facilitated a donation of a Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Kit to the Bethpage Fire Department.

The store is open 24 hours a day and has many great features!! Grand opening promotions include free large hot coffee and $3 six-inch subs during the store’s first four weeks from May 2-May 28, 2017 As part of its grand opening celebration QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from May 2-June 1, 2017 to the Bethpage Eagles Little League.

Distracted Driving Demo - 03/16/2017

Dozens of Bethpage High School Student Civic Key Club Members attended this hands-on demonstration of how quickly distractions like cell phones can cause irrevocable damage.  Each student had an opportunity to test their driving skills on the simulator, which was provided to us by the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center at Cohen Children's Hospital.
